HomeCorporate OverviewCompany Ownership Brock Koren CEO Mr. Koren joined Cal Quality Electronics in August 2003 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He was appointed CEO in December 2005. Prior to joining Cal Quality, Mr. Koren served as President and CEO of publicly traded Advanced Photonix, Inc. (AMEX:API), a contract manufacturer of electro-optical products to OEM's. He was previously the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the same company. Mr. Koren has held positions as Director of Sales and Marketing, Account Manager and Senior Sales Engineer at API, Hamamatsu and Tektronix. Mr. Koren received his bachelor degree in electrical engineering from California State University, Long Beach. NgaThuong Le President and COO Mr. Le started with Cal Quality Electronics twenty years ago. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in growing the company by holding several different key positions. Mr. Le has been responsible for human resources, information systems, procurement and served as the Company's Chief Financial Officer for several years. Mr. Le was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2001. Mr. Le completed four years at California State University, Long Beach where he studied computer science mathematics. Ashley Shaver Chief Financial Officer Mr. Shaver has responsibility for the financial management of Cal Quality Electronics, as well as human resources and information technology. Prior to joining Cal Quality in April 2001, Mr. Shaver worked at several large companies in financial management, including Mars, Cooper Industries and Bourns Incorporated. In addition, Mr. Shaver is a CPA and started his career with the big 4 accounting firm of Ernst & Young. Mr. Shaver has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Louisiana State University. Sunil Kumar Executive Vice President Mr. Kumar joined Cal Quality Electronics in August 2002 as Director of Program Management. For the previous 19 years he held various senior management positions with Xerox in their contract manufacturing division. His varied experience includes roles in finance, manufacturing operations, engineering management, cost and pricing, and business development. Mr. Kumar has bachelor and masters degrees in electrical engineering from IIT (Roorkee) and is an alumnus of the UCLA Executive MBA program. Adrian Utz Vice President of Quality Assurance Mr. Utz joined Cal Quality Electronics in 1991 and is the Vice President of Quality Assurance. He has held various senior level positions, including product management, procurement management and technical support, with K- Tron International, Vogt & Co. and Drahtwerke AG in Switzerland. He was instrumental in adding surface mount technology at Cal Quality and leading the Company to its ISO certification. Mr. Utz has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Luvenius in Zurich, Switzerland. He was also a communications specialist with the Swiss Army and is multi-lingual.
